Day 1 Happy Health Reboot

Ready… Set…Go! Welcome to Day 1 of your 14 Days Detox.

Here we go.  Finally we start. When it gets hard, refer to the Facebook group for support. Ask questions, post your difficulties.  You’ll surprised that you are not alone.

Some gentle reminders:

1. For the next 2 weeks, focus on whole and seasonal foods. This usually means shopping the outer aisles of your grocery store or visiting your local farmers’ market. Avoid processed and packaged foods whenever possible.

2. Drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces in water, add lemon slices for flavoring.

3. Keep your bowels moving.   If you are not going at least once a day, add 400 mg Magnesium Citrate to your smoothie.  You can’t detox if it is not leaving your body!

4. Snacks:  You are not supposed to starve yourself in this detox.  Keep nuts and seeds, hummus and carrots, fruits,  salads, broths and gluten free crackers around in between meals. You do eventually have a smaller appetite from this detox because you are more efficiently absorbing your food!

5. Take a relaxing detox bath and SWEAT! 1 cup of Epsom Salt with 1 tablespoon Baking soda.

DIRECTIONS for the Shakes:

Consume two PaleoCleanse Plus™ shakes per day and one healthy meal that is most convenient to your daily schedule.  You can switch which meals to replace with the shakes.

BREAKFAST:

  • PaleoCleanse Plus™ shake
  • Mix one single-serving drink mix packet in water or your choice of unsweetened almond milk, coconut milk, or other milk alternative.
  • Take one PaleoCleanse Plus™ capsule packet

LUNCH:

  • PaleoCleanse Plus™ shake
  • Mix one single-serving drink mix packet in water or your choice of unsweetened almond milk, coconut milk, or other milk alternative.
  • Take one PaleoCleanse Plus™ capsule packet

DINNER:

  • Regular Meal: Choose healthy items suggested from the optimal food choices

SNACKS:

  • Small amount whenever you feel hungry.
  • 1 piece of fruit and 10 to 12 almonds, walnuts or pecans
  • Cut up carrots or bell pepper with 1 to 2 Tbsp hummus
  • Apple slices or celery sticks with 1 Tbsp almond butter
  • Turkey Roll Up: Chop up tomato, cucumber, and 1⁄4 avocado, grate a carrot, and add to the middle of a slice of nitrate free turkey. Roll the turkey around the ingredients and you have a turkey roll up. Variation: add salsa or hummus
